The professional manner you demonstrated when dealing with the
unplanned &
unreliable behavior of the second shipper you needed to coordinate

(i. e. multiple date and STATE changes!) was such a comfort.
In closing, let me tip my hat to you for fielding several "surprise
situations" with a calm, horse- advocating manner while I
was pulling my hair
out 3,500 miles away!

Hi Angel & David,
You were 100% right about the hay. I put a flake of the MO hay
and a
flake of the CA hay and Magic nearly flung the MO hay right out
of the stall
with her nose and would only eat the CA hay. That was a true taste
test if I
ever saw one.
Thank-you again for bringing Magic out safely and for deferring
until
Saturday - that made things so much easier. I would highly recommend
your
services to anyone that asks for a referral.

Oops-should have looked at the sticky before posting.
I
used D & D Transportation out of California. They shipped
Grasshopper (kmcsunshine's gelding) to me-Texas to California-and
I thought they did a good job. Horse came in the same shape he
left, and I talked to them throughout.
I
thought they were reasonably priced too.

just wanted to ad that I recommended them to my friend because
of your
recommendation and they were wonderful.. Hauled a colt from around
fort worth
to Turlock, ca and my friend was extremely pleased. Kept contact,
called
when they picked colt up and told her he a some hair off him nothing
major
but just wanted to make sure she knew. My friend was so impressed
with
them. We give them a 5 star rating!!!!!!!!

Angel
and David are the only people I trust to ship my own horses and
my
clients horses. They not only know how to keep a horse safe and
healthy
during transport, they know how to support a horse who hasn't
been trained to
trailer load properly. That has been my biggest issue with other
transporters- their trailer loading techniques were horrible.

My
horse traveled from Estacada, Oregon on Palm Springs, California.
He
arrived timely and safely and I do think D & D Horse Transport
made sure of
that. No problems on the trip ---- only problem was with the shipper
at
the beginning of the trip who did not deliver the horse to the
pick up
location, as scheduled. D & D went the extra mile and drove
to my new horse's
location and made sure he was on the trailer. Good work!!!
